As drivers approach, they can see the traffic spikes going across the road and begin to slow. It is quite obvious to any driver that there is an obstacle that they cannot cross. The community is better protected by requiring drivers to enter from the proper drive.

As the vehicle’s headlights illuminate the area, the driver can see the spikes and the access control system.
